We act as a first point of contact for a young person identifying where help can be found and we will also support the young person who is availing of that help.
What We Do Youth Information Centres are places for you to get information on a range of topics or to chat to someone in confidence. It is a place where you can come and ask whatever questions you may have and know that we will do all we can to help you.
The centre is aimed at all young people but people of other ages are welcome to call in! Centres are friendly and inclusive places open to all, with notice boards and leaflet displays of relevant information for you to take away. The Tralee Youth Information Centre offers free internet access. Youth Information is part of a health promoting organisation.
We use social networking websites to communicate with service users, and promote internet safety in accordance within ‘Safe Surfing Guidelines’ and ‘Safe Social Networking’ Guidelines.
