| Description: |
A Multi-purpose building, which offers resources to Youth Work Projects. KDYS Youth Centre Listowel houses a variety of Youth Work Projects including Special Projects for Youth; Drop In Centre; Youth Information Service; Youth Clubs, Community Drug & Alcohol Support; Youthreach and Garda Youth Diversion Project. Shannonside mini region comprises of Ballybunion, Ballydonoghue, Ballylongford, Listowel, Moyvane, St. Senans and Tarbert youth clubs, with a membership of 430 young people. Clubs are open to young people of secondary school age and young people from all ethnic backgrounds. Youth Clubs are organised by adult volunteers who support young people to run the clubs. The clubs are supported by a KDYS club worker. St. Brendans mini region comprises of Ardfert, Ballyduff, Ballyheigue, Causeway, Lixnaw and Spa/Fenit youth clubs, with a membership of 360 young people. Clubs are open to young people of secondary school age and young people from all ethnic backgrounds. Youth Clubs are organised by adult volunteers who support young people to run the clubs. The clubs are supported by a KDYS club worker.

The Youth Clubs run from September through to May and takes place on a Friday night. Activities include games, fun activities, variety competitions, discos and trips. Young people are encouraged to participate in training so that they are enabled and empowered to run their youth clubs. |
