Who We Are
The Mentor Project works with early school leavers, helping them to work out a plan for their future. The Mentor Project is funded by FAS. However, we are an independent service FOR young people. This means we do not make decisions for young people in any way.
What We Do
The Mentor Project has a full-time mentor who will go through all your options with you and help you to come to the decision that is right for you. The Mentors will take you on site visits and talk through all possible options that fit your own, individual needs. After looking at everything and weighing up all your options, the Mentor will then work with you in your application and support you when your move on.
The Mentor Project works closely with all Youthreach Programmes in the area, the Tralee Community Training Centre, FAS, the LES to name but a few. We also have links with 3rd level education options both locally and nationally.
So, if you are out of school and left without your Leaving Certificate, you can call into us and we will help you to find the right progression choice for you.
