As a quality employer, KDYS provides training & development for scheme participants. This is achieved through the preparation, in consultation with participants, of a Participant Development Plan. This Plan helps participants develop skills (personal and employment centred) that will assist them after their involvement in Community Employment.

Over the years all our CE participants have received training & many have achieved certification in the areas of Youth Work, Childcare, Health & Safety, First Aid etc. Some have further advanced to attaining the UCC Diploma in Youth & Community Work.
