KDYS Youth Clubs are celebrating their success by achieving 5 National Titles, at the Youth Work Ireland National Games final which were held in Sports Area, University Limerick on Saturday last 25^th June, 2011.

10 KDYS Youth Clubs travelled to participate in an action packed programme of events, which included competition in basketball, soccer, uni-hoc, quiz, tabletennis, chess, draughts and hip hop dance.

The KDYS clubs were up against huge opposition from various clubs from throughout the country, all young people present on day were wearing their club and county colours with pride, but after a lot of sweat and tears on courts, some sharp moves on draughts boards and knowledge in quiz, 5 KDYS clubs came home as All-Ireland winners.

A huge thank you to the volunteer leaders and parents who travelled to Limerick on Saturday, to club communities who got involved with their clubs in fundraising for the event, your support, time and commitment to your club and the KDYS is greatly appreciated. KDYS are extremely proud of your achievements.
