The KDYS Killarney Junior Chess Club are pleased to add a CHESSFEST for July's SUMMERFEST in Killarney.

Chess is a dream game for kids and parents alike. Chess is proven to develop logical thinking and problem solving skills, improve concentration and focus, hones memory, heightens self-esteem, develops the ability to foresee future consequences and

most importantly offers hours of free fun for enthusiasts.

The list reads like a dream for parents and teachers: the sort of list that would make you wonder why every school and youth club in Ireland doesn’t run chess classes as standard.
