KDYS Youth Clubs are celebrating their success by achieving 6 National Titles, at the Youth Work Ireland Youth Games and Youth Factor finals which were held in Limerick on Saturday last 30th June, 2012.

9 KDYS Youth Clubs travelled to participate in an action packed programme of events, which included competition in basketball, soccer, quiz, tabletennis, chess, draughts while in the Youth Factor KDYS were represented with competitors in song and performance. The KDYS clubs were up against huge opposition from youth clubs from across the country. All young people present on day were wearing their club and county colours with pride, but after a lot of sweat and tears on courts, some sharp moves on draughts boards, a mountain of knowledge in quiz, voices raising the roof in Youth Factor, a total of 5 KDYS clubs came home with gold in 6 All-Ireland events

 A huge thank you to the volunteer leaders and parents who travelled to Limerick on Saturday, to club committees who supported their clubs in fundraising for the event- your support, time and commitment to your club and to the KDYS is greatly appreciated. KDYS are extremely proud of your achievements.
