KDYS LISTOWEL - Universal Services
It’s been a very busy few months for the universal services department of KDYS Listowel. Our Santa’s grotto was a great success which saw over 300 people meeting Santa. The grotto was provided by a group of young people called Is Feidir Linn. Speaking of Is Feidir Linn, they have been very busy getting ready for their tri-lateral exchange trip to Weisbadem, Germany in August. The group recently hosted 24 young people from Wales as a part of this project.
The Youth Café based at KDYS Listowel has as usual been very busy over the past few months. It has hosted training for KDYS volunteers, Zumba classes for 15-18 year olds and our pool team recently visited KDYS Killarney for a friendly tournament.
This year our Yo club (6th class youth club) has grown from strength to strength with a membership of 76 young people. It’s also been a busy few months for the L.O.T. group (Listowel Older Teens) who have been taking part in a number of activities including paintballing and hang-out nights.
