| Description: | The West Kerry Mini Region comprises of 8 youth clubs. These are Dingle, Fionntra/Ventry, Lispole, Le Cheile na n-Og, Annascaul, Camp, Castlegregory and Blennerville. The Clubs have a combined membership of over 350 young people. They serve all young people living in these rural communities and are run by volunteers, who are supported by a KDYS club worker. | |

The youth clubs take place on Friday evenings from September to April and are aimed at meeting the social, educational, personal and spiritual needs of young people. A varied programme of activities is offered including discos, games, trips and variety competitions. Older members are also given the opportunity to become junior leaders through participating on a Youth Empowerment training programme, which aims to increase their communication, teamwork and leadership skills. |
